RESUMO

This research aimed to examine the impact of Green Supply Chain Quality Management (GSCQM) on Corporate Green Performance (CGP). A questionnaire was distributed to a sample of (113) practitioners of large multinational companies in the industrial sector and which are established in Morocco. Data were analyzed using PLS-Smart software which is specialized in structural equation modeling. The software was used to determine whether the tin dimensions of Green Supply Chain Quality Management (i.e. independent variable);Green Human Resource Management, Green Leadership Behavior, Green Supplier Quality Management, Customer Focus, Process Management, Information and Analysis, Eco-Design, Green Purchasing, Environmental Cooperation, and Reverse Logistics have a significant impact on Corporate Green Performance(i.e. dependent variable). The software was also used to test the two mediation variables, namely: Green Organizational Culture and Green Innovation. The findings revealed that the practices of << Green Supply Chain Management >> are having a significant impact on green innovation;and the implementation of the << Green Supply Chain Management >> has a positive effect on Corporate Green Performance. However, Green Organizational Culture and Green Innovation did not have a significant impact on Corporate Green Performance according to the respondents' ratings. Therefore, this study is based on two main theories, namely: cost theory, institutional theory, green theory, stakeholder theory and resource-based theory.

RESUMO

This article investigates the connection between US logistics companies’ commitment to environmental, social and fair governance (ESG) strategy and their performance on the US stock market during the 2007–2022 period. The research considers historical data analysis, CAPM and a comparison of optimised portfolios. According to the results of the analyses, ‘green’ logistics stocks are less volatile, and hence less risky, and more profitable compared to ‘non-green’ logistics stocks. The Great Recession (2007–2009) and the COVID-19 pandemic (2020) had the greatest impact on stock volatility, in terms of the US stock market. Optimised during the time of the Ukrainian crisis, green logistics portfolios were shown to have higher returns, but also risks and Sharpe ratios, than ‘non-green’ ones. The results confirm there to be a connection between companies’ commitment to ESG strategy and enhanced stock performance, which contributes to the importance of the ESG agenda.

RESUMO

The study calculates the costs of the environmental impact of cruise shipping to determine how and to what extent the cruise industry has evolved towards clean shipping in the Baltic Sea Region. While environmental regulations connect directly to emissions reduction, measures to ensure a clean shipping industry are beyond regulatory measures. The sector should be able to fully operate within an environmentally, socially, and financially acceptable structure. A holistic shipping pollution and emissions index, for example, must also include financial or economic quantification of the major environmental impacts. Thus, using empirical data collated from the industry, uncontrolled observations, and experts’ interviews, we present the annual CO2 emissions and the related emissions costs of a typical 7-day cruise that operates within the Baltic Sea region (BSR) as well as a waste management report from the port of Saint Petersburg. The result is a detailed energy demand and cost inventory assessment of cruise trips and their overall impact on the clean shipping campaign of the maritime industry. The focus on a BSR cruise and a port city led to realistic and reliable results since the Baltic Sea represents a well-defined macroregion with clear ports and cruising structures suitable for cross-sectoral activities.

RESUMO

This paper aims to use Geographical Information System (GIS) techniques for studying spatial distribution patterns of green logistics activities at tourist attractions to current COVID-19 situation in Muang Nakhonratchasima district, Thailand. Forty Nine purpose based questionnaires were collected online between 1 April - 31 July 2021. This data was spatially analyzed using high/Low clustering Getis-Ord General G in ArcGIS program. The overall score of 8 green logistics activities in 12 tourist attractions in Muang Nakhonratchasima district is 1.89, which is at a low level. However, almost all tourist places have a high level of green awareness with the exception of Phanomwan Castle (low level). The result reveals that the green logistics activities pattern was neither a clustered or dispersed pattern, which also refers to as a normative distribution pattern in such 12 tourist attractions of Muang Nakhonratchasima district. Both public and private organizations has realized to reverse logistics using a barcode, electric email, and information online for facing the current COVID-19 situation. Consequently, the obtained results will be suggested for TAT Nakhonratchasima and the office of Nakhonratchasima City Municipality further. © ACRS 2021.All right reserved.
